1980, I have been providing photographic imagery to a variety of clients,
from collectors of fine prints, to art directors, photo editors, creative
designers, and grant coordinators. <br>
These pages offer a glimpse of what I do. If you are considering a project,
have a story to tell, need wall prints, or a portrait give me a call. I’m
currently using the Nikon D1x and can provide you with complete on location
photographic service. I also shoot in 4X5 format.</font></font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFCC">A large portion of my portfolio focuses on the wine
industry of California, particularly in the counties of: Amador, Calaveras,
El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino.<br>
The book, The Romance of California Vineyards, Universe Publishing 1997,
authored by Carissa Chappellet, with an introduction by Molly Chappellet,
showcases my wine work exclusively. <br>
For the past few years I have been exploring wine tunnels. Check out my
Tunnel page for a glimpse of this fascinating world.</font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFCC">For those with interests other than wine, my portfolio
also deals with the contemplative spaces of the outdoors particularly that
region known as the Eastern Sierra. You will find this type of work in the
Gallery page. <br>
My Mono Lake portfolio dates from 1980, with image publication credits in
National Geographic’s, The World’s Wild Lands, 1993 wall calendar,
a number of Mono Lake Committee calendars, and Storm Over Mono, by John
Hart, University of California Press 1996. </font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFCC">I have been photographing agricultural subjects and
gardens for over twenty years. My work has been used by Sunset, Organic
Gardening, and National Gardening. It was featured in two table top books:
A Vineyard Garden, By Molly Chappellet , Viking Books 1991, and Gardens
of the Wine Country, by Molly Chappellet & Dick Tracy, Chronicle Books,
1998.</font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFCC">I have just hung out the shingle to do portraits
in my local community and have begun a project to document the diverse cultural
representation that is assembled in the north valley region known as Yuba/Sutter.
